CBS – College of Business Studies Cyprus represents the natural evolution of the Institute of Banking Studies Cyprus (IBS Cyprus), an organisation with a long-standing and successful presence in professional education. IBS Cyprus is the exclusive accredited provider of American Bankers Association (ABA) programmes outside the United States, with plans for further expansion across Europe and Asia.

With a strong commitment to quality, credibility, and international recognition, IBS delivers accredited professional qualifications and diplomas that support the business community and contribute to the country’s economic and social development. It was founded by Cypriot institutions and professionals in collaboration with international organisations and has been operating since October 2004.

To date, thousands of graduates have completed its programmes and are now employed in financial institutions and businesses in Cyprus and abroad.

Building on this solid foundation, the CBS – College of Business Studies Cyprus was established to offer high‑level academic education that meets the evolving needs of the market. Today, IBS operates under the umbrella of CBS, further strengthening the range and quality of educational services provided.
