Dr Christiana Charalambidou graduated from the University of Nottingham, UK, in 2009 with a BA (Honours) in Economics with French, part of which she completed at the Université des Sciences Sociales in Toulouse, France.
She then completed her postgraduate studies at the London School of Economics and Political Sciences (LSE), earning an MSc in International Employment Relations and Human Resource Management in 2010.
Before returning to the UK to continue her studies, Christiana worked for three years as a Human Resources and Business Development Manager at a prominent corporate services provider in Cyprus.
She obtained her PhD in Economics from the University of Sheffield, UK.
Her research interests are in the field of applied microeconomics, primarily in the areas of labour and education economics.
Dr Andri Kyrizi is the Academic Director of the College since 2018.
She received a B.Sc. in Economics in 2007 and an M.Sc. in Economics in 2008 from the University of Leicester.
She further continued her studies with a full GTA scholarship at the University of Leicester and successfully acquired her PhD with specialization in Labour Economics in 2013.
Her primary research interests focus on Labour Economics, Economics of Education and Applied Microeconomics.
Additionally, she has been working at the University of Cyprus as a Special Scientist since 2014 where over the years she taught Economic Growth, Labour Economics, Introduction to Economics and Principles of Macroeconomics.
